Agnieszka Kurczewska is a researcher in the field of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Currently she holds a position of an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at University of Lodz in Poland and a position of vice-rector, responsible for the University’s external relations. Agnieszka Kurczewska is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (ECSB). She created the regional entrepreneurship competition Eksoc StartUP! Her international academic experience includes work at Aalto University in Helsinki, research stays at the University of Tampa and Lund University. Rafał Rudziński has held managerial and executive positions in Polish companies of the Bosch Group for many years. On 1 January 2019, he was appointed the CEO of Robert Bosch and a representative of the Bosch Group in Poland. In 2005-2018, he worked at BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego where he initially held the position of Sales Director, and from 2008 onwards he became a Member of the Management Board responsible for marketing, sales, factory service and logistics. In 2000-2004 he was the Sales Director at Miele. Rafał Rudziński is a member of the Management Board of the Employers’ Association of Automotive and Industrial Products and a member of the Green Transformation Council, which operates within the Lewiatan Confederation. He is also a member of the UN Global Compact Network Poland Program Council.

Liz Goodwin joined the World Resources Institute in 2016 as Senior Fellow and Director, Food Loss and Waste. She is a Champion of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 whose aim is to halve global food waste by 2030.
Liz Goodwin is a chemist by background and started her career in the chemical industry. In 2001, she joined the Waste and Resources Action Programme, and was appointed CEO in 2007 which position she held until 2016.
In 2015 Liz was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. In 2017 Liz was appointed Chair of ReLondon (formerly the London Waste and Recycling Board, by the Mayor of London.

Adam Czerniak is director for research and chief economist at Polityka Insight and head of the Institutional and Political Economics Department at the Warsaw School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics. He co-founded the Rental Research Lab. He authored dozens of publications in the field of economic sociology, institutional economics and on the varieties of residential capitalism. He is the Polish representative to the European Master in Official Statistics Board (term 2021-2023). Until 2012, he worked as a banking economist, previously he cooperated with the World Bank and the FOR Foundation, he was also a Ronald Coase Institute scholarship fellow.

Sociologist and policy analyst, President of the Institute of Public Affairs, one of Poland’s leading think-tanks. In the 1980s Kucharczyk was active in independent student movement and clandestine publishing in Poland. He has been a co-founder and board member of a number of international NGOs, including Prague Civil Society Center, Policy Association for an Open Society PASOS and the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) in Brussels. Dr Kucharczyk is also a Chair of Scholarship Program Advisory Board at Open Society Foundations and in 2008-2015 served as Advisory Board member of OSF Think Tank Fund. In 2009-2015 he served as board member of the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw. He is currently a board member of Oko.press foundation.
Dr Kucharczyk has authored and edited articles, reports, policy briefs and books on European integration, democratic governance, populism and migration policy. He is the creator and co-author of the Polish-German Barometer, a cyclical study of public opinion in Poland and Germany.
Dr Kucharczyk received PhD in sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He studied at the Graduate School for Social Research in Warsaw, Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research in New York, the University of Kent at Canterbury (MA in philosophy) and Warsaw University (MA in English studies).

Thomas Behrens has been a project coordinator in the team of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's international office in Warsaw/Poland since April 2021. Among others, involved in negotiations of the Cybersecurity Act, implementation and review of the Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive, preparation of the Commission’s Recommendation for a common EU approach to the security of 5G networks, the EU cyber-security strategy's actions on resilience and cooperation with the EU Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA). He also directly contributed to the production of the new EU Cybersecurity Strategy.
Previously Head of Unit 'Organised Crime and Relations with EMCDDA' at the European Commission (Directorate-General Home Affairs), which has the lead responsibility for the fight against cybercrime, corruption, sexual abuse of children and confiscation of criminal assets. In relation to cybercrime, involved in negotiation and drafting of two directives (on cyber-attacks and sexual exploitation of children) and establishment of the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3). Previously worked on EU relations with Russia (Directorate-General External Relations).
Before joining the European Commission, a Director at the Stefan Batory Foundation in Warsaw and Policy Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of Warsaw (international relations, law).
