Arne Franke has worked for BDA since 2011, he joined BDA’s Brussels office in 2017 and became Director European Affairs in 2021. Previously, he was BDA’s spokesman in the headquarters in Berlin. Before joining BDA, he worked as an adviser in the office of the Prime Minister of the German Free State of Saxony. Kamila Kloc started her professional career in academia and taught at Warsaw School of Economics as Assistant Professor. She has written her PhD on the role of competition policy in the public utilities sector with a special emphasis on telecommunications. She was a Fulbright scholar at the University of California in Berkeley and a Chevening fellow at Oxford University.

Dulger was previously President of Gesamtmetall from 2012 to 2020. Together with his brother, Rainer Dulger runs ProMinent GmbH, a company that manufactures metering pumps and sells them worldwide. He studied mechanical engineering in Kaiserslautern, where he subsequently obtained a doctorate in engineering. Dr. Rainer Dulger was born 1964 in Heidelberg, is married and has two children.

Iveta Radicová is professor of sociology at Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts and Dean of Media Faculty Paneuropean University in Bratislava. Prior to the positions as Slovakia’s Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, she was a member of the Slovak National Parliament and served as Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, and Family. In 1992, she founded the non-profit Social Policy Analysis Centre, which she led until being appointed director of the Institute of Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Science in 2005. Mark Williamsis a Professor of Palaeobiology in the School of Geography, Geology and the Environment at Leicester University in the United Kingdom. He is the co-author - with his friend Jan Zalasiewicz - of several popular science books on the climate, environmental and biological history of the Earth. Dr Kucharczyk has authored and edited articles, reports, policy briefs and books on European integration, democratic governance, populism and migration policy. He is the creator and co-author of the Polish-German Barometer, a cyclical study of public opinion in Poland and Germany.

During his career he was involved in elaborations and negotiations on substantial number of key EU legislative files in these fields - including the ETS Directive revision, the Just Transition Fund Regulation, proposals for the EU Electricity Market Design, the Security of Gas Supply Regulation and the Gas Directive revision. Magdalena Budziszewska, PhD., is a psychologist and academic researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw. Her main research interest is how persons and societies think, feel, act and learn about climate change and contemporary environmental challenges.
